  2. I moved to Manchester, turning down a career in the pharma industry because I wanted to live somewhere with a bit of life and not Welwyn Garden City.

  3. The vox pops are a bit of a giveaway: "there's a limited number of things to do" ... "the best thing is that we're close to Liverpool and Manchester" ... "you don't have to go as far as Snowdon" ... "The best thing about Wrexham is its vicinity to Chester". Presumably these were the best ones the Guardian could get.

  4. Thing about Wrexham, it's very handy for Rhosllanerchrugog.

    It struck me the other day that there's hardly anywhere in Wales (where people actually live) that I can't claim some kind of family connection with. I guess this is the one for D^2.
