Pushback! Featuring Anthony Wells
Anthony comments on my Guardian piece about the BNP - he thinks it's a lot closer and more volatile than I do. I now have about fifty quid riding on this with various bets, so I'm not taking any more.
And there's the long-awaited part five of the Freakonomics review, trailed here:
"Quite why this expedition to try and make economics do the work of sociology was first carried out, and what it means for the current state of economics, will be the subject of part Five."
There is one coming up on put option replication strategies, and I might even do that Frekonomics section now that Justin Wolfers is shooting his mouth off about macroeconomists.
I demand more talk about economics.
ReplyDeleteHow about a fresh attack on the equity premium puzzle?
Or possibly some comment on the Rogoff-Stiglitz controversy? Seeing as

(b) while it's probably old news to you, I'd never heard of it until this week...

ReplyDeleteBlimey, you're a glutton for punishment. The comments section on your post is a dreadful shit storm.
