Run and hit and run and hit and run
No time for anything at the moment - actually writing quite a lot on planes, trains and automobiles, but a long way from my home computer to post it. I definitely need one of those cool new WiFi laptops. Anyway, check out this IMPORTANT UPDATE on the Iraqi translators campaign. I haven't heard anything back from Dobbo yet but will post it when I do. Do please also feel free to post it on your own blogs guys, even group blogs that you share with me as this site gets about a dozen readers, most of which come from an internet cafe in Gambia where one of my friends switched the homepage. Hullo Gambians by the way. As you can guess, the Freakonomics and natural resource curse posts have been a little delayed too.

ReplyDelete(just for the benefit of anyone who saw the comment above before it was deleted, I'll confirm that it was moderate in tone and in every way the sort of comment I would usually allow to stand, but I am really serious about this campaign and I am not going to be hosting a debate about whether it's a good idea or not. Sorry to the poster.
ReplyDeleteEh? By that logic we should only be debating subjects about which are not serious. Sounds a little strange.
ReplyDeleteI think the argument is that it's like debating whether we should support the Labour Party on a Labour Party website.
ReplyDeleteHeh, if you've ever been to Labour Home, that supposition doesn't sound so strange.
