Thursday (or is it Friday) Music link
What a week - I swear to you, on Monday evening I turned off my computer after crunching numbers on the bailout, said to myself "right, time to go out and get pissed" and was half way to the Tube before realising it wasn't Friday.
For all my workaholics out there. The trick is to slow down when you have more than two Excel-themed dreams in a week.
Two people I know have said the same thing (if a little less extreme - Tuesday felt like Thursday). I think the election played a role - Thursday night seemed like a Friday, Friday was spent in a half-daze so seemed like a Saturday, Saturday hence was Monday, more so as I was paying a lot of attention to BBC Online news which I rarely do at a weekend, and so on. Tomorrow is Friday though.
ReplyDeleteSorry to thread hijack, but D^2 if you haven't seen it, I recommend you check the latest JEP. The symposium titled "Taking the con out of economics" may be of some interest to you.
ReplyDelete(I mention this because I have enjoyed your econometrics posts in the past.)
Happens all the time if you don't work a normal Monday-Friday week. My wife and I are always asking each other what day of the week it is. Though of course that could also be something to do with being in our forties.
