The person on earth I feel sorriest for today
... is the poor bugger who no doubt right at this minute is wandering round the World Bank offices, trying to hand off a brown envelope with "PAUL'S LEAVING COLLECTION" written on it.
Nick C's Sat night literary London dinner party is going to be a cracker tonight. I wonder if Nick will try to explain it all away first in order to mitigate the laughter, or he'll just sit there quietly hoping no-one brings it up?
